There is currently a waiting time of about 8-12 weeks for consultations with the psychologists at Praktijk voor Psychologie in Nijmegen.
Should you prefer a particular time or psychologist, the waiting time may of course be longer.
If you find the waiting time too long, you can always contact the care provider, or ask your health insurer for waiting list mediation. Your health insurer can support you so that you get an intake interview within 4 weeks from your first contact with a healthcare provider, and that treatment is started within 10 weeks from the intake. These are the maximum acceptable waiting times jointly agreed by healthcare providers and healthcare insurers (the treble standards).
